Estes Fanfare is an ideal opener for your next trombone ensemble concert. Written in 2024 by Ryan Talbert, this piece is a quick and exciting fanfare written for 8 trombones (6 tenors, 2 basses). Your group will definitely get a triple tonguing workout on this piece, but all passages requiring triple tonguing are on a single repeated pitch. Estes Fanfare was premiered by the University of Central Arkansas BearBones and was performed by the UCA Natural Slides on their concert at the 2024 International Trombone Festival.

Length: 2 minutes

Range: Highest tenor part reaches C5 twice and stays near Bb4 and A4 for much of the piece. Lowest bass part features a good amount of pedals and reaches pedal Eb once.
